The Lakes management group have been working hard to obtain funding to clear the weed which is currently choking the lakes. A grant from Trust for Oxfordshire Environment (TOE) has now been obtained to employ a company using amphibious Truxor machines.
They will be working at the lakes to remove the excess weed during the week and so the Lakes will be closed to the public whilst this work is carried out
